The Lookout Rooftop in Tuscaloosa is one of those places where you go for the view — and stay for the atmosphere. The space feels modern and comfortable, with an amazing view of the river and the city, especially at sunset. Drinks are well-made, the menu has good options, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I really liked that it doesn’t feel overcrowded; there’s good music, comfortable seating, and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to talk and enjoy the evening. If you’re visiting Tuscaloosa, The Lookout Rooftop is definitely worth a stop — perfect for a quiet night out, a date, or a drink after work.

Staff was so nice about my order! I accidentally got a full salad instead of a full salad so I was confused why my meal was so expensive. I questioned them and the manager gave me the meal for free since they couldn’t ring it up differently. Staff is so understanding and accommodating!!

Located at the hotel Indigo by the riverfront . We came here to dine In . This hotel btw looks really cool too. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the rooftop seating with fire pit .Although a little too cold for me, we decided to dine inside. Blankets are available if you want to remain outside and enjoy the view. Inside there is a bar and very limited seating. The menu is small, the drink menu is not. There is a sign at the bar indicating that all drinks contain 1 1/4 oz of alcohol and if you want more or less you need to let the bar tender know. I ordered the chicken strips and fries, husband ordered the crawfish pasta and our co worker ordered the flat ironed steak and potatoes. Both my husband and I thought that the portions were on the small side. The steak was ordered medium rare and that is exactly how it arrived. Pasta was delicious, fries perfect and chicken done well. We cleaned our plates. Gin and tonic ($10) was weak . Our fault we didn’t see the sign until later.
